FAQ

Is b.cuz safe?

Yes!  b.cuz products are all-natural, dietary supplements that meet the strict safety standards of the Dietary Health and Supplements Act and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. With that said, each of us are different and it is always recommended to discuss all supplements with your physician.

How are b.cuz products developed?

b.cuz products are developed with the help of Nutricap Labs highly qualified, in-house team of product advisors. All formulations are based on the latest scientific research, and are tested to ensure their efficacy and safety of ingredients.

Is b.cuz made in the USA?

All b.cuz products are manufactured in Farmingdale, NY by the award winning Nutricap Labs.

Is b.cuz regulated by the FDA?

All b.cuz products are manufactured in an FDA-Approved, GMP certified facility located in New York. As a dietary supplement, the FDA pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act regulates all packaging, ingredients, and manufacturing.

When you say all b.cuz ingredients are USP grade, what does that mean?

The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is the official public standards-setting authority for all prescription and over-the-countermedicines, dietary supplements, and other healthcare products manufactured in the United States. The USP conducts verification programs for dietary supplement ingredients and products. These programs involve independent testing and review to verify ingredient and product integrity, purity, and potency for manufacturers who choose to participate. For more information, please visit their website at www.usp.org and check out our Quality Guarantee.

I’ve noticed b.cuz is easier on my stomach than other vitamins. Why is this?

Nothing ruins a day like an upset stomach. During our research, we took specific care in selecting our ingredients that would be easy on stomachs, while still maintaining maximum effectiveness.

Can I take b.cuz if I am taking other medications?

b.cuz was designed specifically to avoid any negative interactions with other medications. As with all dietary supplements though, we suggest speaking with your doctor before taking any health product.

Can I take b.cuz in addition to a multivitamin?

Yes. As a matter of fact, the ingredients in most generic multivitamins are generally kept at such a low level, their effect in minimal to begin with. However, each person is different and we suggest speaking with a doctor before taking any health product.

Can vitamins expire?

Vitamins generally have about a 2-year shelf life while sealed and about 6 – 8 months after you open them. The better vitamins out there should have an expiration date for you and I’d recommend thinking twice about purchasing one that doesn’t.

Taking an expired vitamin will not hurt you. Overtime, vitamins lose their potency, so the date of expiration is purely the date the vitamin will no longer be as effective as stated on the label.

Why are the levels often higher than Recommended Daily Allowances (“RDA”)?

Recommended Daily Allowances were created as a minimum level required to prevent serious health issues (problems like Scurvy and Rickets).  To function optimally, your body needs more than the RDA amount.

Do you ship b.cuz internationally?

We currently only ship within the United States, but we are quickly working on the paperwork to ship to a number of countries internationally.  If you are interested in a b.cuz product, but don’t live in the US, its best to just send us an email.

What is b.cuz you work indoors ?

b.cuz you work indoors is the first and only multivitamin created specifically for people who work indoors.

b.cuz you work indoors works by replenishing the body with the vitamins and minerals that are depleted by an indoor working environment. In addition, it provides your body with antioxidants to neutralize free radicals that are produced by the physical and emotional stress that occurs at many jobs.

Why is Vitamin D so important?

Your body needs Vitamin D to function properly, but the only way to obtain it is through direct sun exposure or supplement. b.cuz you work indoors helps by giving the body the Vitamin D it’s craving in addition to other essential vitamins and minerals designed to counteract the negative effects of working in an office.

Why does b.cuz you work indoors turn my urine bright yellow?

It’s from the Vitamin B2 and its completely normal. It’s just your body getting rid of what it doesn’t need. If you notice your urine is consistently darkened though, you could be dehydrated and should grab a glass of water.

What is the suggested dosage and method for taking b.cuz you work indoors?

One pill, twice a day. We have found taking one with breakfast and one with lunch works best for us. Many people find it most helpful to increase their dosage during the winter months when we see the sun even less.

Why do I need to take b.cuz you work indoors everyday?

If you live in the US (especially the Northeast), chances are you are deficient in Vitamin D. Although most people notice an improvement after a few weeks, Vitamin D is fat soluble meaning your body stores it. Because of this, it could take a few months to get your Vitamin D levels to its proper levels.

Many of the other ingredients in b.cuz are water soluble, meaning your body can’t store any for later. It will quickly use what it needs and expel the rest. For your body to perform at its healthiest, it needs to maintain the correct levels of these essential vitamins and minerals.

Can I take b.cuz you work indoors while drinking alcohol?

Yes! When you drink you deplete a number of vitamins and minerals found in b.cuz you work indoors. Its actually a good way to replenish these vitamins and is easy enough on the stomach to take the morning after.
